Experiential Marketing is the future of Marketing

We daily see a lot of enterprises and entrepreneurs are coming in to existence. Every single industry is saturated. Demand is getting bottlenecked and supply is over flowing in every industry. In such a situation how one can expect exceptional returns and great response. We have witnessed so many companies withdrawing without even touching their breakevens. In such a situation there are only two things which can drag you out from any sort of jeopardy and can make you a strong contender among your competition. And those two things are adding differentiation in your products and services and marketing them appropriately.

As a matter of fact every company comes up with unique products, services and some scintillating ideas. But mostly the reason of failure for any new entrant or old companies is not product failure but it is some marketing failures. Selection of marketing channels is the first step that any company has to take while organizing a marketing campaign. Because this is the way to communicate your message to your potential customers and alarm them about your existence. Though the traditional styles of marketing like TV, print media are always there and will be. But you have to realize that your competitor too is using them. In such a situation every company have to come up with a unique marketing channels. I would rate experiential marketing as one of the most unique and latest marketing channel which can help any struggler to make an existence.

Customer prefers experience before buying:
Due to the availability of internet and other types of technology marketers have to deal now with more smart consumers than ever before. Gone are the days when people use to see an ad on TV and start making a run to buy the product or service? Now people love to experience the product before buying it. Their buying decision is uttered with a lot of options and choices, and to influence their buying decision one have to involve them while selling or communicating anything.

Events provide experience:
Event marketing nowadays is a very famous and commonly known part of experiential marketing. By using this, a lot of companies are trying to attract their potential customers by directly meeting with them. In order to attract the masses they arrange trade shows, conventions and other events. Now let me ask you, what can be more effective when a company directly meet their customer and demonstrate, communicate and elaborate the product to them? For example, when a person sees an ad on TV it might take him so long to trust your product or service because he doesn’t want to use a product which may not fulfill his needs. But when your promotional model will show him your product or service and make him involve by letting him use your product or service, so when he will be going to make a real time purchase he would not trust any other brand over you because he is already aware about the features. This is as simple as that.

A well handled event serves a lot of purposes:
Depending upon the nature of your business in the beginning you may have to generate leads and your client’s data base. Event marketing can also help you in this regard, because it is easy to collect information of the people who will be visiting your booth at a trade show, and with the help of qualified and trained event staff you will be able to have a subtle and appropriate feedback about your product as well. This is obviously very important and crucial for future betterment.By summing this all up I would like to say that it doesn't matter if your existing marketing channels are paying off or not, in order to add comprehension and compete with your competitor, inclusion of this marketing channel is very much essential.

  1. A good experiential agency will help you plan and prepare the perfect launch event without forgetting all the pre-launch noise if relevant to your brand.
